In 2022 I read How to Blow Up a Pipeline by Andreas Malm.
This is not actually an instruction manual, so the title is a bit of a bait and switch.
That being said, Malm writes clearly and convincingly on his subject. At times you can tell he’s withholding full context in order to support his arguments, which is a bit frustrating.
But despite frustrations, I would say he succeeds in posing the central question that should be on the mind of anyone who possess some amount of conviction about addressing the impending/ongoing climate catastrophe: “…Perhaps it’s past time that we consider escalation?”
